Our Story: A Houston Candle Company with a Purpose

Vibe & Glo Candle Studio didn’t start as a business idea—it started as something I personally needed. After years of working long overnight shifts as a labor and delivery nurse in Houston, I was constantly pouring into everyone around me and rarely pausing to refill my own cup. I needed moments of calm, creativity, and connection… something that could help me reset my mood after those heavy, exhausting nights.

Candle making became that ritual for me. It was the one space where I could breathe, create, and shift the energy around me. What began as a small spark quickly grew into something much bigger: a mission to share clean, intentional home fragrance that helps people reclaim their space and feel supported—no matter what season they’re in.

Inspired by My Roots & the Power of a Vibe

I grew up in East Texas watching my mom make candles at home. I remember the magic of it—melting the wax, playing with scent combinations, and seeing how something so simple could instantly change the vibe of a room. Those memories stuck with me. Even as a kid, I thought, “How cool would it be to have my own candle company one day?”

Years later, that little dream resurfaced at exactly the right time. Vibe & Glo became my way of reconnecting with that childhood joy while creating something meaningful for others.

One thing I carried with me from nursing into candle making is this: what you breathe in matters.

That’s why every candle we make is poured with sustainable soy wax, clean-burning wicks, and phthalate-free, paraben-free fragrance oils. Everything is hand-poured in small batches here in Texas with intention behind every step.

But beyond the clean ingredients, every scent is created for one purpose—to shift your mood. To help you ground, reset, unwind, recharge, or find a moment of clarity in the middle of real life.

Mental wellness is deeply personal to me. I know how important it is to have tools and rituals that help you feel safe, calm, and supported. That’s why a portion of every purchase goes to the Anxiety & Depression Association of America (ADAA).
